Right to believe by Fyodor Telkov, a Russian photographer, describes some religious communities of Old Believers. They are a Russian religious movement that, starting from 1666-1667, took position against the Orthodox hierarchy's choices in their country, and eventually separated in sign of protest against Patriarch Nikon's ecclesiastical Reforms. The Old Believers kept the Russian Church's old practices before the new reforms became effective, and would not re-enter the official Orthodox Church again. This project is a visual study of various consents and closed communities of modern old believers, where the continuity of tradition is supported by visual references.
